Giving something up is easy,
when nobody else wants it.
There's one true sentence about humanity:
You don't want what you have,
until someone else is after it.
This applies to money,
women,
drugs,
cars,
and everything else.
Giving something up is easy,
when nobody else wants it.
There's one true sentence about humanity:
You don't want what you have,
until someone else is after it.
This applies to money,
women,
drugs,
cars,
and everything else.
“You don’t want what you have,
until someone else is after it.”
love the cynicism of this poem. and yet it’s almost true. almost. 🙂

hha I believe it to be true. Follow Hemingway’s logic on writing, “All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know. So finally I would write one true sentence, and then go on from there. It was easy then because there was always one true sentence you knew or had seen or had heard someone say.”
hmmm interesting 🙂
but the sentence you chose is cynical.
that will be all 😛

it definitely is. One of those nights 😛
sharp, apt words.
